Looking for Facts: data.ed.gov

Part of the Obama administration’s transparency effort is making available public data sets for citizen perusal. The department of education has their own portal to deliver some of these goods. It is called data.ed.gov

The data sets are raw and they are quite large; not for the feint of data heart. But if you like digging into the numbers, and you have some multiple regression analysis skills, here is a way to lose your weekend. The link above takes you to the data tool API’s that might help to slim down the process.
